Key Responsibilities Financial Controlling (70%) · Analyse project profitability across our ongoing missions and provide clear insights for management · Monitor cashflow on an ongoing basis and maintain a rolling cashflow forecast, flagging potential shortfalls or risks early on · Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises across departments, consolidating inputs and tracking actuals against plan · Build, maintain and continuously improve financial dashboards and management reporting, giving leadership clear and timely visibility into the company's financial performance · Support the preparation for internal and external audits. Gather and organise supporting documentation, and help ensure our financial records remain audit-ready throughout the year
Accounting Support (30%) · Support our external accountant with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including purchase-to-pay processing and bank reconciliations, and follow up proactively on outstanding supplier invoices and payments to keep our accounts payable up to date · Support the monthly and year-end closing process by preparing schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation, helping ensure closings run smoothly and on time · Assist in preparing periodic VAT and Intrastat filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting deadlines · Contribute to improving and digitalising our finance processes and tools, helping the finance function scale alongside the rest of the company
What you're bringing · A Master's degree in Finance or Accounting · 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, accounting or finance administration · Experience working in a technical environment (space industry is a plus) · Strong Excel skills and experience working with an ERP system (Odoo is a plus) · Knowledge and experience with Percentage of Completion (POC) revenue recognition and Work in Progress (WIP) valuation, ideally applied to long-term projects or contracts · Precise, structured and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership · A hands-on, proactive attitude and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment · Good communication skills, with the ability to explain financial matters to non-financial colleagues
